Wide flat nose with large nostrils, prominent heavy brow ridge, deep-set warm round eyes, wide expressive mouth with full lips. Dark fur overall with a slightly lighter greyish face. Pearl the Penguin
An upright emperor-penguin-style penguin with a classic black-and-white coloring, short flipper arms, and a short orange beak. She wears an elegant floor-length ball gown with a wide flared skirt over her lower body, fitted bodice, and small puffed sleeves at the shoulder.
Traits:
Classic upright penguin with a compact rounded body, very short neck, short flipper-like arms, and short webbed feet. Large rounded head with a white face patch, small round eyes, a short pointed orange beak, and two small feather-tuft eyebrows positioned directly above the eyes. The defining accessory: a full ball gown — a wide flared skirt from the waist down to the ankles, a fitted bodice, and prominently puffed sleeves at each shoulder. The combination of upright penguin with a formal ball gown is unmistakable.

Sebastian the Snake
A long, elegant garden-snake-style snake coiled in a loose S-curve, holding his body upright from the middle coils. He has a smooth triangular head, friendly slit-pupil eyes, a slight smile, and wears a classic tall black top hat perched on his head at a slight rakish angle.
Traits:
Long sinuous snake body, smooth and scale-patterned, coiled in an elegant S-curve. The head is slightly wider and more triangular than the body, giving a gentle friendly look. Large friendly eyes with vertically slit pupils and bright highlights. A slight upward curve to the mouth suggesting a smile. A short forked tongue tip visible. The defining accessory: a tall black top hat (tall cylindrical crown with a wide flat brim) perched on the very top of the head, tilted slightly to one side at a jaunty angle. No limbs whatsoever — the body is purely sinuous curves.
Clothing:

silhouette: Purely sinuous — no limbs, no wings, no appendages of any kind. The body forms an S-curve or loose coil. The head sits at the top of the uppermost curve. The tall top hat adds strong vertical emphasis above the head. This silhouette is unlike any other character type — the complete absence of limbs makes it instantly identifiable.
