A Day at the Dock

Isla loves the dock! She sees boats bobbing on the water and her eyes go wide. Arda holds baby River close, and they all soak up the sunny day together.
When little Isla wants to help fix the ferry dock, the bigger kids say she's too small. Feeling sad, she makes a simple plan and, with a sprinkle of kindness, shows everyone that even the smallest helper can make a big difference!

The older kids were playing, but they told Isla, "You're too small!" Isla's smile went away. Her dad, Arda, scooped her up and hugged her tight.

Now Isla sits by the water, looking down. She feels sad inside. Nearby, little River giggles and plays with his toy, happy as can be.

Isla sits very still and thinks hard. How can she help? Mama Tina watches with a warm smile. Then Isla gets a big idea!

Look! Isla checks her plan and gets to work. She has a great big smile on her face. Arda watches with kind eyes, ready to help.

Isla stands up tall and looks around. Everyone is smiling at her! She feels so proud of what she did.

Isla looks at little River. He is small, but he is so happy! Isla grins and thinks, "Even little ones can be special." Arda carries River close, smiling too.
